During our Summer Workshop TAPA was flooded again! But this time, it was with incredible art donations!

The Boy Scouts of Troupe 656 showered us with canvases, art easels, paints and paper, foam pieces and crafts, and much more in a dozen large cartons. Alex Adia is working towards becoming an Eagle Scout and selected TAPA as the center of his project. His younger brother has been a student at TAPA for several years so his family knew first-hand how much we lost during Hurricane Sandy. Alex thought of organizing an Art Drive and called on family, friends, peers, and professionals to make donations to the academy.

In addition to much-needed supplies, we were also blessed with a $260.00 donation the Boy Scouts raised at Wendy’s Night where the restaurant generously donated a portion of their profits to the Scouts.

We are so proud of Alex and all his remarkable efforts to help our studio continue to serve our students. Donations like this make it easier for us to share scholarships with those in need. We are so grateful for all the time and energy you put into this project.
