TAPA started another year of Saturday Respite classes last weekend and we all had a blast!  Ms. Elizabeth started the morning with an amazing art project from recycled materials.  We made “reverse” aquarium collages.  The fish, seaweed, and ocean were added in a reverse order to make these one-of-a-kind collages come to life.  They look amazing in the light!

Ms. Lindsay taught dance and we did  country dances to work on holding hands, following our partners, and using patterns.  We had a great time dancing with lots of props and keeping tempo.

After snack Ms. Tatum taught us Storybook Yoga and we listened to our stories and stretched to match the characters.  We relaxed in the blackbox room and had an energizing class to start off  the weekend.

fall 2

The fun continued on Sunday, September 22nd during our Fall Workshop.  We had a full house with new students and new volunteers sprinkled among our regular favorite faces!  We had a dance party, delicious snack, and made fall photo boxes to hang in our homes.

TAPA welcomes the new students and invites everyone to join us for our weekend classes!  fall 1
